Hi, if you have been successful, I wouldn't change a thing.
I have a brower. I didn't like it at first. But the problem was a thermometer that was too sensitive. I kept the temps near 100 to 100+scant because I found that even with the fan, I was getting temperature gradients that were supposed to be even temps thruout with the fan. My thermometer was set on top of the eggs. The one big improvement I made was to wrap the body in bubble wrap. Then I lay a piece over the top, esp in the middle. If you feel the lid, you can see that you lose alot of heat thru it. It gets very warm esp in the middle. That kept the temps stable , the most stable I've gotten.
The other thing is that next time, I will cage the lightbulb with something. I noticed that my chicks were touching the lightbulb with their beak. I didn't want them burned. Other than
that, I really like it. Never had to open it.
