I have a 48 egg incubator that I bought online. The first batch failed bar one chick who I am hoping will survive. The problem was the temperature. It is much lower than it should be. I have a couple of termometers in there at the moment, a room one and an oral one (neither digital) and they are reading at about 95 degrees, my logic was I would take the temp up on the incubator until the termometers read 99.5. But it only goes us to 103.5. Now that might be enough, but if it's not, what should I do? It's not an expensive incubator (not cheap either!) But I am not sure if the thermometer can be corrected. Any advice greatly appreciated. I am really new to all this!
