Hi, I have read that during lockdown you should lower your temperature. Is this true. Why do you do this? What temperature should it be at.

Thanks for any information

Commercial operations do drop the temp about 1/2* during lock down. But, they have precision control. For those of us who function with home incubators, we do well to hold temps at a satisfactory level to assure a hatch, and don't have such precise control. For the most part, I'm happy if I can keep my temp in a range that will keep my babies growing, without birth defects from the temp being too low, and without getting killed from the temp getting too high.
