This morning and found the incubator had been unplugged. It was plugged in last night, but after I was was in there, the kids were in there, so it was probably off over night. When I plugged it back it the temp was 70, and the humidity was 80%. After 20min or so it was 85degrees 55% humidity, on it's way back to normal.

I have 16duck eggs that were placed in there 3 days ago.

The question is, should I toss these and start over, or should I wait till day 12 and candle them? If it's a lost cause, I'd rather not wait to get started, but if they still have a decent chance, I'll give them another week or so and see if they develop.

Sorry to hear about your mishap. I would leave them in the bator until you candle. The internal egg temperature may not have dipped far enough to kill the embryo.
Being this happened early during the incubation process, theres a good chance they will be ok.
