Incubator vs. Sitting?

I never understood while we use incubators even though we use it.

Because hens are unpredictable creatures

If you want to hatch on a regular basis an incubator is great. You can decide which breeds to hatch, take your time finding the right eggs and hatch them when you feel like it. No waiting around for a willing hen.
