For heavens sake! The incubator was perking along nicely and while I was out of town for 36 hours the CAT jumped on the incubator and the temp was 104 when I got home. Half the eggs were on day 8-9 and the rest on day 1-2. I am just going to let them be as I have no idea how long the temp was up. Should I be prepared for mass death (of my $200 eggs) or is there still any hope?

Don't lose all hope! I had 17/21 chicks healthily hatch last time and I apparently had a 105 temp spike I never even knew about ( until yesterday). My hubby didn't want to panic me.

Mine hit 106 on Day 10 (overnight) for who knows how long. I'm not sure how many it hurt since this was my first hatch and many eggs were not fertile. The remaining eggs hatched yesterday (and last one on the way today)
