I have a hovabator 1602 and I'm on my first hatch. It is a still air with a wafer thermostat. Budget wise it was good but the amount of energy spent checking it and sleepless nights worrying about temp spikes and drops was not worth it. I'm sending it back as soon as this hatch is done. Hovabator has a genesis model that a lot of people have spoken well of. It's more expensive than the 1602 but it's not crazy expensive. there are other brands too. I'm certainly not recomending hovabators as the best out there for the money.

hovabator 1588 ,, I would not not recommend any little giant although the L G turners seem to be ok ,, Check your aera on
craiglist sometimes a used one will show up also check yahoo groups for a 'for sale ' site in your aera.

Build your own. I have about $35 in mine.
