Looking for a decent sized incubator under $200 that can handle quail, chicken, and possibly duck. Not opposed to buying a second as the flocks grow, but need something decent and digital, preferably with a turner. My 7 year old HovaBator died last year.

Do you have a preference on how many to hold at one time?

I recently bought a Nurture Right 360 and love it! But it only holds 22 eggs which is fine by me since I don’t plan on hatching more than that at one time.

You give a $200 budget then mention you might buy another one down the road. Well you can find used GQF cabinet incubators for a little above your budget. $250-300. You will not have to buy a second one as these will hold a couple hundred chicken eggs and close to a thousand quail eggs at one time. You will have zero regents if you get one.

These are always in high demand so if for whatever reason you need to sell it you can recoup pretty much all your money if you buy one used.

If you get lucky you'll find one with a clear acrylic door or you can buy one for it. Then you and others can gather around and watch your chicks hatch.

I have considered the GQF, since I have hatched before as well. The hardest part right now is the space for one. Little house for now, so a table top type is more ideal until we decide on the bigger space (already looking). Since in quail especially I'm looking to raise for eggs and my freezer I'm quite interested. I'd like to venture to more duck and turkey in addition to what animals we have once we have a bigger place.
