Indian Head, MD...let's change the Ordinance

I live in Indian Head, MD. Recent information and investigation of local ordinance shows that chickens are not allowed. I want to change the ordinance, the county allows for chickens but not the town----is there anyone local to me who is interested in going to the town with me to have this change made? is there anyone who has had success in changing ordinance in their town?
