Hi, I have had runner ducks for 1 1\2yrs. I had 3 go broody about 3 months ago. They hatched out 1 duckling. I let them sit on their nests 30 more days and nothing else was hatched. I removed all eggs , cleaned coop really well(they were not happy). Now I only have 1 duck laying. They free range, I have looked everywhere for eggs. I even kept them in their pen for 36hrs. and still only 1 egg. My question is...Is this normal after they were broody? I have seen feathers around but not as many as when chicken molt. Do ducks stop laying when they molt?
Thank you in advance. This is driving me crazy trying to figure out what's going on.

Yes. Ducks will often go into a molt after being broody and usually will not start laying again until they having finished molting. However, if you are in the states or on this side of the globe the days are getting shorter and many ducks will start to slow down laying now. Even if a duck laid regularly for their first year they tend to slow down laying with every year with the changing daylight.
