Indoor chickens?

Are there any breeds of chickens that could be kept in a coop indoors (large garage) and aren't super loud? Our city ordinances say we can have chickens only if they're at least 150 feet from any of our neighbors and don't cause a noise disturbance. The only way we can do that is by keeping them in our 2.5 car garage like we keep our quail. I can build them a very nice coop, however it's needed, but I don't know enough about breeds or types to know what might work or if it's possible at all. Thank you!

Hmm...really any breed can be kept in a garage, it's just a matter of what you want. Seremas are a bantam breed often kept inside the house, so I'm guessing they would do fine living in a garage too. Whatever you do, avoid roosters to keep the noise down.
