Indoor Guinea as pet experience

That's not a good idea. Guinea fowl are extremely loud and I can only imagine how much louder they would be in an enclosed area like a house!
They are also very flighty. You can tame them to a certain extent but I have never seen or heard of anyone who had guinea foul who could compare to chickens in terms of calmness.

How loud is one Guinea fowl?. Can they be tame to perch on my arm?
Way louder than multiple guinea fowl, lol. My girl will fly up and perch on me

But most never would. They would be a very bad idea indoors as well.

I've had one overwintering inside bc she was a single late hatch. She perches on my arm, shoulder, head. Usually she is as quiet as having a parakeet, chirps, clicks, & tweets. She does have a tendency to get into cackling matches w/my husband..for some reason, she doesn't care to hear him talk in the evening so tries to drown him out..& does a good job of it.
As much as I enjoy her company, she isn't staying inside. She's awaiting a new coop outside being built. She goes outside during the day in a covered kennel bc 1) she hangs out at the neighbors too much 2)bird flu precautions 3) protections from existing adult flock already established - and I don't want her mating w/them (jumbos). She will be queen bee of the new coop and flock.
