It does - probably from a lack of sunshine and exercise. It's a sad way to keep a duck.

So many threads, same questions, different species each time.
This has to be trolling/attention seeking.

OP: Poultry cannot thrive indoors, they have complex social needs, need so much space and enrichment, and waterfowl require access to swimming water. This is inhumane.
If your questions are genuine, I suggest you look into a couple of canaries, or finches. In a large enclosure.
You won't find many other birds that thrive indoors. If you care about their welfare, explore those options instead of pursuing this.

Why are people here so against keeping a poultry bird indoors? Give a poultry bird civil rights then eat them for consumption is more hypocritical than what I’m doing.
