Went out to check rabbits tonight and noticed that Momma had a nasty looking ear. It's only one ear and all the other rabbits are fine. Any ideas?

I raised rabbits for about 5 years, and that looks like ear mites. You should be able to find ear mite drops for cats/dogs that should work fine for the rabbit. Either online or in a farm store. You'll want to deal with it... because that stuff spreads!!

Also make sure you treat both ears on her and any of the rabbits she's been in contact with. Ivomec orally helps too.

If you are trying to do things organically, you can put oil in the ears to suffocate the mites. Some prefer vegetable oil, others say that can cause bacteria or fungi to grow in the ear - they recommend mineral oil. Whichever you use, you do need to repeat several times over the course of a couple of weeks. Ivermectin needs to be repeated, some say once per week, others say at about 2-week intervals, to break the life cycle of the mite and get rid of them. Re-treatment about a month later is also suggested by some.

Never heard about mineral oil, thats a good option. Another thing you could try is Shaklees basic H cleaner. It's a natural soap cleaner that makes insect bites practically disappear, And stops itching
How is she doing now?

She is almost completely healed. I've been doing twice a day drops of olive oil with a few drops of tea tree oil. It worked like a charm.
