Infertile sebright eggs

Hi, I bought 12 silver sebright eggs and only 2 were fertile, so what I wanted to know was, is this normal for sebrights? And are they hard to rare? Any advice? Thanks

I was reading up on Sebrights today and a recurring piece of information was that Sebrights often have low/poor fertility. Guess some things come part and parcel with the breed

I have golden Sebrights. I hatched two rounds of eggs this year mail order with good success. I let a broody hatch last year with good success also.

I have a Sebright Hen and crossed her with a Rosecomb/Old English game Bantam Rooster and hatched two chicks from her eggs. Possibly contact a Sebright breeder for accurate information.......
