Since they have the 10% off until Jan 31, I am considering getting the Eco but I cannot find out how to check the humidity? Does it regulate the humidity for you or do you need to monitor it. I know the more advanced one has the humidity read out but I don't have the money for that one. I already have two incubators. I am seriouly considering getting another LG for hatching or get the ECO for incubating? Any information abou the Eco will be greatly appreciated. I currently have a Hova 1588 and a forced Air LG that I am fortunate enough to say I have never had a moments trouble with it. In fact I bought a turner for it the other day. I know everyones opinions about all the bators listed above but I would like to get the info on how to properly work the Eco.

I have the Brinsea ECO and the Mini Eco - right now, I am testing some eggs in the regular ECO by adding water in one of the troughs every three days without using a hygrometer then at lockdown, I will add water in both troughs and add a sponge - so far all eggs are coming along well. That's all I can hope for - I have been very unfortunate in my past hataches with humidty as the culprit, but I blame that on the hygrometer itself rather than the incubator. Hope that helps

Is it large enough inside to place a thermo/hygro in it?

Thanks for all the replies. I looked up the operating manual for this unit and decided against it.
