Hi, I have some mixed heritage turkey eggs in the incubator. I set them 4/2/15 but my incubator (cheap Chinese eggubator) lost heat for 3 to 4 days where it was ranging between 35c to 37c. My other incubator was occupied with quail but once they hatched I moved over the turkey eggs and they have been at a stable temperature for a week of 99.5f

I've just candled the eggs, and although I lost nearly half (dis) which I put down to the incubator issue, half are living and some look to have internally pipped while others still seem days behind as expected. So if anyone has knowledge they would share it would be much appreciated.

How long from internal pip to hatch in general?
Do all heritage turkey breeds tend to hatch at 28days (with a incubator that is stable unlike mine was)?
With my temperature fluctuations, over how many days would you suspect the hatch will carry on? And when would you give up and toss remainder of eggs?

Breeds or colors of parents include Royal Palms, slates, burbon red, bronze and probably others I can not identify :) I seen parents but I'm not a turkey pro haha! The chicks I hope to hatch are not pure bred but out of pens mixed of heritage breeds. The turkeys are intended to be yard birds for my brother who loves turkeys.

Thanks.
