I've got a chook with a bare butt due to some feather picking (only half my chooks have tails at this point). I noticed that she had a lump on her rump as her fluff grew back in. When I finally got ahold of her, I found a pustule.
So I lanced it and pulled out a wad of feather and some clear fluid. I pulled out another feather that was threatening to develop into the same thing. Can I prevent this from happening in the future?
