That is temporary they are going to either a new home or in the brooder with my chicks..

My brooder has pine shavings is that ok for them.. as said this is temporary until I find a new home. So I know very little about ducks

Ducklings need a massive amount of niacin, far more than chicks, and therefore far more than you will find in most poultry foods. Unless you are feeding a premium duck starter, you will need to supplement with added niacin.

Ducklings are messy and wet, too wet for chicks. A separate brooder is recommended.

Overall ducks are very hardy and easy to raise, easier than chickens. You just have to deal with their two challenges: niacin and the mess.
