Hello BYC! So I’ve had a lot of problems with birds lately(if you seen my other posts). Today I was feeding my baby chicks grasshoppers, and I heard squawking coming from the area where I have a robin nest on my property. I ran over because last time I heard this there was a magpie trying to eat their eggs. When I came over, I noticed two babies were on the ground. One of them had a bleeding eye and an injured back. The other one was perfectly fine. I thought that they had been attacked so I immediately put the babies back in their nest wow the parents were squawking at me wildly. I let them be then came back a bit later, and both of the babies were on the ground again, so I assumed that this was time for them to be fledging. The injured ones cuts had dried up so I assumed everything would be fine. About two or three hours later I came back and he was in the same place where neither of his siblings were. He is not moving and I keep hearing him calling for his parents, but nothing was coming. I am currently sitting close by and hearing him call but I see no Robbins around. Should I take in this little baby? I’ve tried to raise a different baby bird because my friends dog ate all the other babies except for one… it did not go well.😞 if I do try and raise this baby, what should I feed it? Should I get it that weird bird milk or should I try and catch it little worms and grasshoppers?

Please help! I really need it! Thank you!

I added some pictures, but you can’t see the injured eye very well.

The bird's parents are keeping an eye on things, I'd let things play out. If you're really worried call your local wildlife rescue as raising wild birds without a permit is illegal in many places

Ok so I heard some robins near, but I don’t here them anymore and I still hear him calling. I’m just really confused now.

OK, its parents are now taking care of it. I’m glad everything is well.😮‍💨 it just scared me to see his eye all bloody into not see any parents nearby. I’m glad he’s gonna be OK.
