My pen was raided tonight, and I lost my male brama, found the hen under the bushes. She has all the feathers gone from her neck, exposing the flesh, what to do? Also she and her roo and 2 guinea's shared a small home until they gained some size to be put in my bigger coop, now that she is alone what should I do with her, keep her alone after she is healed or put her in big pen? Please help, not having a good experience this is my 2 nd batch o chickens. The late chickens were about3-4 months old

Can you make a enclosure in the big pen to hold the Brama until she heals and is ready to mix in? With the cage in the pen with the rest they will get to know each other before they can physically mix.

Thanks, I have considered that. Either that or separate my rosters so that she won't get picked on. She seems so lonely without her mate.while she was confined in a pen the guineas called and called until they saw her and then ran to her and perched ontop of itall day.

Separating the roos may cause you to do a reintegration with them. If the guineas went to her they consider her one of them for now.
