I have a 6-8 week old chick that I noticed had a couple of small nicks on its feet. on the middle toe knuckle. One looks like the scale already came off and the other the skin is still attached but visibly peeling. it is eating, pooping, and acting fine so far. Do I need to treat this?

It will probably heal fine on its own, but you could also spray with Vetericyn to facilitate healing. I'd be concerned that these are peck wounds from other chickens - if that's the case, something like Pick No More would be better because it also tastes unpleasant and may deter further pecking.

Thank you for this! This would be on my most dominant chicken and believe d to. A rooster also. I’ll get both tomorrow at the feed store!
