Injured Chicken

I have this chicken named Lucky who can't really walk. It is about 5 months old. I thought it had been eaten by a raccoon but I found it later in an upside down bucket. Long story. It was there for seven days and is alive eating and drinking and pooping well. It can stand up on its feet now and before it could only stand up on its shanks. Is it broken? What would you recommend to do to ease its recovery. PLEASE HELP!

It sounds as if Lucky is lucky indeed. Protein supplementation and monitoring to make sure it isn't being picked on, and it sounds as if a complete recovery is in the offing.

Glad you found her in time! Chickens have a way of getting themselves into trouble. Good food,rest,time and safety should help her recover.
