Injured Chicken?

The injured chicken is a Rhode Island Red.
It looks as though she has cut her foot. Where the outermost toe on her right foot meets the foot it seems that there is a cut. There is black material [not dirt] around the wound. She is limping and it pains her to put weight on it. I cleaned the wound in warm water and applied a small amount of betadine solution to it. Is there a possibility of infection? What procedure should I follow? Should I place her in a separate enclosure? Thank you in advance!

*As a point of interest, the chicken's name is Sookie :)

You will need to keep redressing the wound and taping it shut till it heals.

I always use neosporin after I wash and then sometimes will put a sugar mixed with Iodine poultice on it and wrap it well.

Update:

Sookie has lost the wounded toe and appears to be healing up in fine shape. She still limps, but not as harshly as before.
Thank you for your help!
