Injured foot with pics

When I let the gals out this morning, Blackie was walking rather gingerly and I noticed that she would stand on one leg at times. Upon closer inspection, her foot is injured. I tried to get some pics but she is camera shy....will it heal/what do I need to do?

HMMM have you done a search on the forum to see if there is anyone who has had this problem?
Iam sorry I have never seen anything liek this so I am not much help but will keep an eye on htis post so I know what to do as well.

could that be the start of bumble foot? Run a search on it... regardless.. I'd wash it off and get a better look at it. May just be cut, and you could add some neosporin and wrap with athletic tape to keep it from getting infected... if it's bumble foot, it already has an infection there's links on here to tell you how to treat it.

Thanks...I have looked up bumblefoot, not sure yet if that is the diagnosis but will clean off and see what is going on.

I took her off the roost tonight to clean the area and apply some Neosporin and bandage...still not sure about bumblefoot.
