My 2 month old Rhode Island Red is walking like her leg is hurt. the other day she was slightly limping and i notice a scrape and i cleaned it and took care of it and she ran off like nothing was wrong, now she can barely stand and wont put weight on the foot. the leg itself looks normal but she is holding it weird. and when she walks she falls over and holds herself up with her wing.
this is how she stands on it

Have her toes every been curled on that foot? She is standing on her hock or elbow. Check her hock joints and compare them for swelling. Riboflavin deficiency, viral arthritis, and Mareks disease could be possible causes. Mareks can cause a position of one foot forward and one foot backward--I hope this isn't an early sign. Please do some reading before making a diagnosis. I would start treating with poultry vitamins in the water, or dissolving a B-complex tablet in water or grinding up on food. Here are some links to read:

Her toes always seem to be straight out when i see them, she will let me bend them though. she will try to walk on her foot but when she "stands" she is putting the weight on her hock. the joints seem the same.

the other day she had a scrape up the front of the "hurt" leg, but i cleaned it up and it looks like it is almost completely healed.

I have 3 other chicks born the same day and they are perfectly fine (1 is a Easter Egger, 1 is an Australorp, and the other is a Golden Buff)
