Injury related wry neck

My first two quail had all sort of incubation problems so I am relatively attached. They are 3 weeks now and fully feathered so I have started taking them outdoors for the day and bringing them in at night. Unfortunately my rooster flushed at the wrong moment yesterday (mid transfer from brooder to pen). Its been 24 hours now and he is eating and drinking and running around but he looks like quasimodo. He has full movement of his neck preening his back but when he is relaxed its at right angles. I have seen him streach it up to honk but at rest it is wonky. Will he always be like this, is there something I can do? I can see lots of info on wry neck but always vitamin deficiency based whereas this was injury?

I would love to straighten him out if possible, particularly as he overbalances frequently, I just dont know how.

I've an A&M roo that has bashed himself pretty good, hes getting better but walks around like his brain is still spinning, hes so out of balance he'll stretch and crow, then he has to catch himself because he falls over. I had another that did the same thing but has since recovered completely as far as I can tell.

Oh how long did that take for the one that healed. Quasimodo had to be seperated as since he injured himself she keeps going for him and blocking his food, was going to give up and just keep the hen as didnt really want a seperate pen for a rooster, but then when she was having a go at him he fairly raced over to me honking madly and when I opened it he hopped into my hands which sort of sealed his fate crafty thing. So currently I have given the hen to a friend with quail so she isnt alone (nighttime introductions which were a bit tense but I gather she is fine) and quasimodo is in with us in a cage until the next group of quail get larger. Im thinking to put them together when they are 3 weeks and he I s 5 coming up to six weeks to give him an advantage!

Yeah, if my "drunken Sailor" roo don't get straight soon, I'm going to tape a little tiny beer bottle to his wing so people will quit asking "what's wrong with him?"
