My first two quail had all sort of incubation problems so I am relatively attached. They are 3 weeks now and fully feathered so I have started taking them outdoors for the day and bringing them in at night. Unfortunately my rooster flushed at the wrong moment yesterday (mid transfer from brooder to pen). Its been 24 hours now and he is eating and drinking and running around but he looks like quasimodo. He has full movement of his neck preening his back but when he is relaxed its at right angles. I have seen him streach it up to honk but at rest it is wonky. Will he always be like this, is there something I can do? I can see lots of info on wry neck but always vitamin deficiency based whereas this was injury?
