Injury:Twisted Neck

Just had a 3 day old chick twist her neck from an injury. She got her leg caught and flailed around until her neck became twisted. She has vomited everything she ate/drank. She cannot walk. She flops and falls back down. Felt the neck feels twisted. She is blinking and follows your finger with her eyes.

Any advice on what to do?

I'm sorry to hear that she got injured. Separate her from the others and watch her. You can try dripping water down the side of her beak to see if she can get some hydration. Poor little thing - if she doesn't seem to take in water the chances for here are not good.

I took and put her back in the small tub i had everyone in by herself on a towel under a warming light. I will see if she can drink here in a little bit. Thanks for the advice!

Well an hour after i posted the last post. She un-twisted her neck by her self. I came back to check on her and she was standing up normal with her head facing forward jumping around like normal! So shes back in with mom again thanks!
