This little girl decided to get out of the crate that i had her in & none of my other birds seemed to bother her. I have fostered her and another 6 week old and they are inseparable. I have a mixed flock. 7 two year olds & 7 four month olds & a large rooster. Just found this today. Doesn’t seem to bother her but it’s all dried up. Do i just leave it alone to heal or put simmering on it. It’s under her wing so didn’t notice it.

It could be a spur injury from the rooster. I would clean it with either saline or wound spray, and apply some antibiotic ointment such as Neosporin twice a day.

Thank you! Should i keep her separated. My rooster has never hurt one of my girls
