Insecticide and STRESS?!?

We just sprayed a lot of insecticide over our garden because we have a TERRIBLE white fly issue. I moved the cage of my button quails over to my front yard so the fumes wouldn't get to them. Will they be okay? It's not all that windy, but the fumes can be smelled throughout the entire street. When is it okay to put them back in their regular location? They seem to be stressing out over their new location.
