Inside Ducks

Ducks are VERY social and do not do well alone........They need other Ducks....Sounds like you have a Drake and he is maturing and sexually frustrated.......He will need a Hen or three to keep him happy......

Cheers!

Thank you for that!! I have it so he/she will be having a ducky play date soon. It wasn't intential to keep him. He was smaller then my hand when I found him and around this age I was going to give him to a friend that has ducks because they didn't hunk they're older ones would accept a new duckling but now he's like super attached to me. If I even shower he walks around the house quacking and "screaming" looking for me. Another question if you don't mind, do you think if I gave him to a home (outside) with other ducks he would be ok like not freak looking for me? The vet says he's finally full grown

Sounds like he is imprinted on you! There are people who live happily with one house duck, but it depends on your lifestyle. Most of them work at home.
Also, I have never heard of a situation where an imprinted duck is moved away from the house forever. I've heard of the duck being moved outside with other ducks, and the imprint may start to taper off. I've also heard of situations where the duck was made a house duck because it was so attached.
I have also heard of boy ducks living alone, but if you work/leave home a lot, you may want to find him a friend.

That's what I was thinking, like just making him an inside duck now because he's super attached. I live in Florida so right now it's "cold" for us I was planning on getting a little coop once it warms up and during the day let him stay out there and at night bring him in at night. Everyone local doesn't sell ducklings until springs so maybe I will look into getting a friend.

Moose pictures?

Yeah, I would get him a friend, if your up for it. How long are you home everyday? Do you ever leave Moose alone? How does he react?
