For those of you who have raised your ducks inside your house. I have had to raise 2 of my girls inside. They are going outside this weekend (for good) as I feel like they are quite old enough and are mostly feathered (they will still have a heat source to go to if they choose to). I've been letting them come out of their little house and run around on a tile floor every day as they've been growing and now I have down feathers all over and when they flap their wings it flies EVERYWHERE! I've tried mopping, vacuuming, and I know sweeping will just send them flying. What do you use to pick up all the little down feathers once I put them out for good?

When I first put Raspberry & Blackberry outside, they pretty much exploded feathers all over the pen. I had feathers in every corner of the pen, fencing, yard, etc. I mostly just had to wait until they blew away 😅.

In the house I'd just recommend keeping up with vacuuming. The feather explosion won't be forever! Once they're fully feathered out you'll only have to worry about when they molt.
