i assume the idea is to have the egg itself (or wiggler) at 99.5 degrees? how many times a day should the egg be turned? i have seen varying answers. thanks

My understanding is at least 3 times a day. You can turn more than that just be sure it is an odd amount of times as in 3, 5, 7 etc. This will prevent the eggs from sitting at the end of the day right back on the same side every night. Hatch rates are higher when turned an odd amount of times. Using the wiggler try to stay as close to 99.5 as possible.
