Inside of my coop, Suggestions needed!

This is the inside of my coop so far. Any suggestions? I'll have 6 chickens, 3 ducks.

The one thing I don't see is ventilation. From everything I have read, it is very important. Looks great.

It does get very hot and humid here in the summer.

That is a very nice coop. You could put in ventilation on the sides. We found some old small windows for ours. We just replaced the screens. Are you going to have a run or are they going to free range ?

We get hot humid summers, too. I'm planning to put windows on three walls-- long, narrow, horizontal windows near the tops of the walls on the north and south walls, and a large, square-ish one on the west wall, which will face into the covered run (so it will be shaded and protected from rain.) I'm also planning to do a wire floor for summer-- I saw an awesome coop somewhere on here that had a removable wooden floor that slid into place under a wire floor, so that in the winter the chickens can have a deep-litter floor, and in the summer, cool wire. HTH!

They have a run. My dog wants to kill them, so no free ranging. Here is their run.

Should I have more nest boxes? And should they be enclosed in the back?
