Inside of my coop, Suggestions needed!

Hens tend to use the same nesting boxes. I would have one for each 3-4 hens. I don't know anything about ducks. Your coops is looking great

Thanks. I'm really proud of myself. I've done it all myself. It's my big project to do while my husband is away. We're military. So i always need to find a project to keep my mind off of missing him.

I'll probably add at least a couple more boxes.

As a fellow military wife(Army 29 years) that coop is really impressive. I could not nail two boards together if I tried. Hope your husband comes home safely and soon!

Make the fence so that the chicks can't stick their heads through the fence. I hear dogs (and other predators) will bite their heads off. I keep a "no fly zone" between my chickens and dog yard (about 3 feet). I've had chickens for about a year and my dogs pretty much ignore the chickens now, but I still don't trust them.
