Has anybody else wanted to keep a Silkie Hen inside the home, like a parrot? We're thinking of a "playstand" with a perch. Our Silkie hen is a very docile lap pet. We have other chickens, too, she just doesn't like them and they peck her. She could make a very good indoor pet, at least overnight for her safety.

Any ideas?

I dont see why it wouldnt work. They even have little diapers for them! Cute!
