finishing up my new coop ,and was wondering peoples thoughts before I start the net step . I've had chickens for years but the other day someone said the inside should be white not dark. to help with egg production .would it really matter much .what ya thank

Color does not matter. Light however, does! So, the more light that can get into the coop the better.
As far as cleaning goes, it makes it super nice if you can paint the walls and floor at least with a glossy or semi-gloss durable paint, which makes cleaning easier. But that's just a thought.
