I know this question has been asked before but I haven't seen that many answers for when living in Minnesota. We live about 1 hour south of Minneapolis. We get very strong winds and it gets cold in the winter. We are building a new coop for our hens and are debating on to insulate or not. We have only raised cornish cross in the summer so never had chickens over the winter. What are people's opinions on to insulate or not? Also if we do insulate what are people using? The coop will be 4x6 for 3 hens, getting a couple more next spring.
