You suggested bigger louver vents...perhaps I did not mention that we will have 3 windows as well--2 awning windows (2x2) and one double-hung (3x5). Will that be enough ventilation with the louvers? And in the winter when its howling, will the louvers be enough to keep the windows closed????
The coop is 10x12 for 9-12 hens. (I might make it a little smaller to include a shed for grain, but still a big coop for the number of hens). It will have an 8-foot peak ceiling--I may put plywood on the rafters and put some hay storage (1-2 bales) up above?)
