Integrated my day old chicks with the 3 big hens outside

I thought I'd post this just to show how it's going. I didn't want this round of chicks in the house, so I set them up with a Premier heat plate in their own area in the run. I set them in a cat carrier with a tarp overhead to protect from rain and have given them areas to get through to escape the bigs. It has been going great. For the most part my three big girls completely ignore them. The only time the bigs peck at them is when they feel like the littles might take their food. I wasn't sure how it would all work out, but I am quite happy with the results.

If you enlarge the last pic you may be able to see the littles in the way back left by the tree.
