integrating a single younger pullet with the older hens

I have a single pullet because I accidentally let her partner in with the older girls and they killed her. I don't want this to happen to this one. So can someone please give me some advice. The young one is 5 months old this month. The one that got killed was the same age. I have 5 older hens the oldest are 2years old and the other 3 will be 1year old this august.

Towards the end of this article, there are several suggestions for integrating new birds. There isn't one guaranteed safe method, unfortunately. My feelings are that lots of space for the integration or, if possible, an area new to all, are probably the best distractions.
