Hello,
I have a group of chicks who are about 5-6 weeks old. More of them appear to be males than I was hoping for so I’d like to get a second group but all that is available near me are pullets who are 9-10 weeks old. At this age would I need to integrate them slowly like I would with my established flock or are they still young enough that I could just put them all in immediately?

Here is my view/opinion, and what I would try at first.
Of course Not sure of your numbers,,, but lets consider a reasonable amount. I would put all of these 2 groups together in an outdoor run area. Then I would observe what happens. Remember,,, there will be pecking order skirmishes, but at such young age,, not likely to end up chicks hurting each other.
Then after a while, start introducing the group to your existing adult flock.
If you free-range,, that is also a bonus to introduction process.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:
