integrating flocks

I have my original flock of 18 birds...I have a new flock of birds that are almost 5 months old that are in my opinion ready to join the others. Are they old enough? If so, how do I go about doing this? I need step by step please! Thanks in advance!

How many of the new birds? At five months they are POL, so yes they should be ready to join the flock. A phased introduction is good if you have the room. Split the coop/run for a week or two. If you free range after a week let them range at the same time. If there is peace after the second week remove the divider.
