Our big girls are officially in their new coop!
We had to shut them in the first two nights to keep them from hopping fencing to get to the roof of their smaller, older prefab coop. After two nights they began putting themselves to bed, and last night they all used the higher roosting bar!!!

I wish I'd known about this site when we started constructing it because we're now building a second, walk in coop with nesting boxes along the bottom edges that will eventually incorporate older girls and free ranging pullets!
