Integrating young quail

I have my adult quail in a 6x6x6 ft pen with an indoor coop area that is about 2x2.5 ft. I am thinning out my flock to make room for younger quail so after this weekend I will have about 4 to 8 adults left. My chicks will be three weeks old this weekend. How long should I wait before adding them in to the big pen?

They Should Not Be Added Until Full Size. Preferably When Mixing Birds Its Best To Mix All Simultaneously In A "new To Them" Pen--- This Helps Eliminate Territorial Boundaries And Makes It A Level Playing Field For All Involved. Any Way To Remove The Adults Your Keeping And Temporarily House Them In Another Pen Until Your Juveniles Finish Growing To Full Size? If So Do That And When The Juvies Are All Grown Up Everybody Goes Back To The Big Pen At The Same Time
