We have 8 chicks 7 weeks old. 2 unfortunately are roos. Going to go buy a few more. Question, is interesting younger chicks easier? Thinking 6 weeks old with 13 week old chicks if we pull the plug. Looking at Dominque, Rhoad Island Reds, Golden Wyandotte chicks. We have a Buff, 1 EE, 2 sex links, Barred Rock, 1 creme legbar. The 2 roos will have to go.

Should have a Plan B in case it doesn't work out to integrate them, but we've had 1-month-old silkies in a pen with 3-month-old silkies, and they all got along. It's just the adult hens that would pick on them had they been in the coop with them.
