I have three juvenile subflocks with overlapping home ranges. Two have approximately 30 birds each and another has six.
Below are images (only to not corrupted) that show some behaviors.
First is sub-flock B controlling a feeding station.
Second is of the cool stuff. Four members of sub-flock C are keeping two members of sub-flock A away from a feeding station. The main aggressor in sub-flock C is the larger American Dominique cockerel that makes aggressive sounds at the pullet and cockerel Missouri Dominiques up the hill. When he does that the three American Games that are members of his sub-flock also back away a little but quickly come back in to feed. Their leader only attacks birds from outside their sub-flock.
