Interested in Blue Salmon Faverolle

Hey there

and welcome to BYC. Faverolles have always interested me as well and I still think one day I may have some. From what I hear, they have calm personalities and are good layers of decent sized eggs. Im into bantams so I've had my eye on the smaller version. The blue salmon are gorgeous! I think if you plan to breed blues you'll still need to have the normal salmon color to get them. By breeding blues together, you will wind up with lots of splashes which are still beautiful but different. By breeding salmons and blues together, you will get both.

I know there are a few byc members on here whom are dedicated to the breed... maybe scroll down here a few pages and see if you can find Henry's faverolle thread.. all the info you'd ever want there... good luck

Pasofinofarm has beautiful LF blue salmons. She has auctions for the eggs from time to time in the BST section. If you keep a flock of all blue salmons you can even get a splash salmon. This guy is a bantam but will give you an idea of what they look like.
