Interesting behavior spotted!

So while watching the ducks and the ducklings today, they stopped and suddenly became very alert, looking up and over when a plane was passing overhead.

Its amazing that they would spot this and watch for it! (But it makes sense as they'd watch for hawks, etc.)

And it was universal that all of them are doing that half cocked head with their eye thing and all doing it together, very interested in what it was.

Yes, prey animals are very observant of their environment. It also helps that they have 340° view to help detect predators. My chickens do the exact same thing hahah
