Interesting phenomena - Cockerel vs. Pullet behavior

Roosters often are more assertive, but this may be a bit of "passive aggressive" behavior.

You don't mention their ages, but I'd be sure they know you are still in charge of things and that they don't start pecking at your hands too, especially if they are younger. If they do, treat time is over. Otherwise, a rooster will begin to challenge you.

They're 8 weeks, and no, they don't peck my hands.
